American Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients
- 4 Sticks (2 cups) Unsalted Butter, room temperature
- ½ tsp Salt
- 5 C Confectioners’ Sugar
- ¼ C Whole Milk (or heavy cream for extra richness)
- 1 T Pure Vanilla Extract

Instructions
- Beat the softened butter and salt in a large mixing bowl on medium-high speed until smooth and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
- Reduce the mixer speed to low and gradually add the confectioners’ sugar, one cup at a time.
- Increase the speed to medium-high and beat until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
- Pour in the milk and vanilla extract.
- Beat again on medium-high speed until creamy, smooth, and fully combined.
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed to ensure even texture.
