Bourbon Apple BBQ Glazed Chicken Sliders

Ingredients
For the Chicken:
- 2 lbs Boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 T Smoked Paprika
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Kosher Salt
- ½ tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (optional Rogue move)
For the Apple BBQ Glaze:
- ½ C Apple Butter
- ½ C BBQ Sauce
- 2 T Bourbon
- 1 T Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
For Serving:
- Slider Buns
- Sharp Cheddar Slices
- Crispy Fried Onions or Slaw

Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Season chicken thighs with paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and cocoa if using.
- Whisk apple butter, BBQ sauce, bourbon, vinegar, and Dijon in a saucepan.
- Simmer glaze for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Grill chicken 5–6 minutes per side until cooked through.
- Brush generously with apple BBQ glaze during the final minutes.
- Slice chicken and pile onto slider buns.
- Top with cheddar and crispy onions and slaw.
