Chocolate American Buttercream

Ingredients
- 2 Sticks (1 cup) Unsalted Butter, room temperature
- 2 C Confectioners’ Sugar
- ¼ tsp Salt
- 1 T Whole Milk
- 2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 2 T Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 8 oz Semisweet Chocolate, melted and cooled

Instructions
- Beat the softened butter in a large mixing bowl on medium-high speed until smooth and creamy.
- Add the confectioners’ sugar and salt.
- Mix on low speed, then increase to medium-high until fully combined.
- Whisk the cocoa powder into the milk until dissolved.
- Pour the cocoa-milk mixture and vanilla extract into the butter and beat until smooth.
- Add the cooled melted semisweet chocolate and mix until the frosting becomes silky, glossy, and fully combined.
