Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting

Servings: 3-4 Cups

Ingredients

  • 12 oz Cream Cheese, room temperature
  • 1 Stick (1/2 C) Unsalted Butter, room temperature
  • 4 C Confectioners’ Sugar
  • ½ C Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • ½  tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Beat the cream cheese and butter in a large mixing bowl on medium-high speed until smooth, creamy, and fully combined.
  2. Reduce the mixer speed to low and add the cocoa powder, mixing until incorporated.
  3. Add the confectioners’ sugar and salt gradually, mixing on low until everything is combined.
  4. Increase the speed to medium-high and whip until fluffy and smooth, about 2–3 minutes.
  5. Mix in the vanilla extract and beat again briefly to finish.
