Cream Cheese Frosting

Time: 15 Minutes
Servings: 5-6 Cups

Ingredients         

  • 12 oz Cream Cheese, room temperature
  • 2 Sticks (1 cup) Unsalted Butter, room temperature
  • 4 C Confectioners’ Sugar
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 ½ tsp Pure Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Beat the cream cheese and butter in a large mixing bowl on medium-high speed until smooth and creamy, about 2 minutes.
  2. Reduce the mixer speed to low and add half of the confectioners’ sugar, mixing until combined.
  3. Add the remaining confectioners’ sugar, salt, and vanilla extract.
  4. Increase the speed to medium-high and beat until light, fluffy, and fully smooth, about 3 minutes.
  5. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and mix again briefly to ensure an even texture.
