Perfect Hard Boiled Eggs

Time: 35 minutes
Servings: 12
  1. Add eggs to a medium sized pot and cover them with cold water, making sure the water is about 1 inch above the eggs.
  2. Heat the pot over medium-high heat until the water reaches a boil.
  3. Once the water is boiling, cover the pot with a lid and turn off the heat.
  4. Let the eggs sit, covered, for 9-12 minutes, depending on how cooked you want them.
  5. After the eggs are done cooking, transfer them to a bowl of ice water. Let them chill for 14 minutes to make peeling easier.
  6. Once cooled, gently peel the eggs and enjoy!
